Local
Scholarship “Match Grants”
KDF matches Kiwanis Club scholarship monies, designated
for a member of a local Circle K or Key Club member, in an amount of up to $500.00 for qualified
scholarship programs. The KDF also matches local scholarship monies for non-sponsored youth up to
$250.00. Funds are limited. Thus, Scholarship Match Grants are made on a first come/first serve basis.
All
applications must be submitted by March 15th and must conform to all policies/ procedures to be considered.
Kiwanis
International Matching District Scholarships
for
Key Club & Circle K
KDF
matches dollar-for dollar monies made available by
the Kiwanis International Foundation to Key Club (high
school) and Circle K (college) members within our
District. Scholarships are awarded by Kiwanis International
at the annual Key Club and Circle K International Conventions.
KDF’s
General Grant Program
Kiwanis
Club service projects and programs which promote
the ideals, goals and objectives of Kiwanis International,
our District, and which have a community- wide,
county, division or district-wide scope benefiting multiple
individuals are eligible for consideration.
All
applications must strictly conform to all KDF policies/
procedures
to be considered. Funds are limited;thus KDF funding commitments are
made for one year.
“Parenting
the First Year” (“PFY”) or beyond Project
Grants
KDF
has funds available solely for the establishment of
a “Parenting” project in communities where the project does
not presently exist and community resources are
insufficient. Grant applications can be obtained
from the KDF Secretary. To be considered, all
applications must strictly conform to all KDF policies. Funds
are limited; thus KDF funding commitments
are
made for one year only.
