What is WIUM KDF?

The Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Kiwanis District Foundation, Inc. (KDF) is a not-for-profit corporation chartered by the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District of Kiwanis International in 1983.  In 1984, it was recognized as a tax exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service.  KDF generally serves as a monetary foundation for the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District of Kiwanis International and its member clubs.  As such, it serves as a fund-raising vehicle for the District and its member clubs.

What does WIUM KDF do?

The KDF Board meets at least quarterly to review contributions made, and award Grants, Scholarships and other monies according to its policies.  While primarily awarding grant monies to Kiwanis Clubs for worthy projects beyond the typical means of those clubs, KDF awards other monies as well.  For more information about available KDF Grants, click here.
